Catching Up

Sunday 29th June 2014

So much has happened since we last blogged here that I don’t even know where to start… We have been taking the concept of multitasking to a whole new level. In September last year, I decided to pursue a masters degree in Conference Interpreting and Translation at Leeds University. I’ve always had a thing for languages (proof: my bio) and thought I might follow in Nicole Kidman’s steps at this stage in life, check it out:

Many exams and gruelling lessons on (sometimes 6 hours in a classroom, which required insane amounts of caffeine and protein for fuel), I have not only managed to survive, but also thrive in a booth environment, one linguistic challenge after the next! I am currently in the very final stages of completing my course. So if you need a PT > EN, EN > PT interpreter for a business meeting or conference, please do get in touch!

Linda, for her part, has continued to make waves in the digital world. She has just taken up the position of data scientist at Hailo. Her role comprises using data – through research and dissection –  to meet business goals – aka crunching numbers, building models and rocking data. So even though we are busier than ever, we are planning to leverage off all these experiences to keep on creating cool content for the arts. And we have kept the show running with a number of projects, including a new infographic for the Royal Opera House, to a social media takeover, plus a dance & social media masterclass at ENB. We invite you to take a tour of our presentation:
